I’m your average run of the mill cat. I sit around, demand food, and most importantly, sleep. Personally, I’d say I’m pretty smart, smarter than some of my other cat friends anyway… one time, I caught them trying to eat a piece of wood that had been discarded by one of the tall ones. But the tall ones aren’t particularly intelligent either. I see them often staring for long periods of time into glowing rectangles of varying sizes. Sometimes the rectangle has a bunch of clicky things attached to it. The biggest rectangle I’ve ever seen is this one on the wall. At night, when my tall one presses a button on another non-glowing rectangle, the huge rectangle instantly blinds me for a second. Sometimes when my tall one spends too much time staring at the glow, I’ll bite their ankles so they pat me. Usually, I just get picked up and put outside. But it’s not all bad! There are lots of bugs and rodents outside. My favorite thing to do out there is to grab a mouse by the tail, and repeatedly lick the mouse in order to traumatize them forever. Sometimes I find a lizard and grab its tail to do the same, but it seems they’ve gotten a bit smarter because they can detach that bit of their body. I hope mice don’t get that ability.

If I had to rate my life’s “interesting” factor, I’d probably have to rate it at a 6/10. It could be 7/10 but my tall one always ignores me.

One of my favorite things to do is to sneak into my tall neighbors’ backyards, one of them has a mango tree, and so that tall one’s cat, Jimmy, he likes to jump up at the tree and get a mango. It doesn’t usually work. Sometimes when he does that, I see his tall one holding their glowing rectangle and then press the glowing screen.

by Stevie Hi there.
